Well it's about time to start thinking about my next upgrade. I want to get X2900XTX as soon as it is released but here come the problems.
According to the specs floating around about the card it needs about 340mm / 13'' space to fit in the case, my current case doesn't have so much space. My x1800GTO barely fits. So i am looking for a new case too, for a long time i wanted to get the Coolermaster's Stacker. Space for 2 psu's and 11 5.25 drives. From the photos it looks pretty big but on the official site i can't find any exact specs. Is there anyone around who owns this case ?

good friend of me has the same case you can be sure it fits he has 2 8800gtx

Lol, if you really wanted to know an average spec for the size, you could always assume each slot was the size of a regular CD/DVD-Rom then just get a ration of picture size to real life size :P. Then again, slightly bothersome.

Well yeah it's huge, (r600 is huge), the last 3 years i have changed 2 cases. Every time i was getting a bigger one and every time i wanted to get the Stacker but it was pretty expensive. For me it's a good investment cause i hope i won't need a new (bigger) for many years.

btw if anyone can suggest another case in that price range (150euro/170$) please let me know. The most important thing is to fit r600 and to have enough space for more than 4 hdds.
Space for an extra psu is good too

i have recently bought myself a second bigtower chieftec i'm really pleased with it.before it i had a chieftec dragon maxi and now with this wich has the same height but is wider and longer i can stuff much more in :d i still have 6 centimeters of space between my 8800gtx and my harddrives

well i can assure you tefra i can fit almost the same as my friend in his stacker + its less expensive
.i to wanted to buy a stacker but looking at the price

Well i made my mind
 Coolermaster Stacker STC-T01 S 124,79 € OCZ 700W GameXStream 95,80 € <-- This is one of the best 700w psu around Hopefully they will arrive before next week.
