Default 9600GT launch date push back
Tefra's PC Specs

9600GT launch date will be push back to Feb. 21. According to our sources, the delay is because some 9600GT in the shipments have voltage offset issues “during certain applications”.

NVIDIA need some extra time to fix the bug, so they decide to hold the shipment for a while. What’s more, the China-based factories now are running into Chinese New Year holiday so the launch date have to push back a week, to Feb 21st.

AMD 2900 Vs 8800
PeaceKEEPER's PC Specs

Since you have been talkig about HD2900 and nVidia 8800, I have a quick question. My brother has a choice between HD 2900 256MB, 8800 GTS 256MB and 8800 GTS 640MB. What do you think, what`s best? His configuration is as follows: Athlon 64 x4 6000+, 4GB Corsair DDR2@800, Radeon X1950XT, etc.
And if you please can tell me somthig about thos GPU`s. Thanks in advance, PeaceKEEPER.

well if the choice is between those than the clear winner is the 8800gts 640mb. I should beat out the HD 2900 256mb easily and the 8800gts 256mb may be a new version but at only 256mb it isn't quite up to par that the added mb give the earlier 8800gts.
