Default 70 year old's final build

I have a lot of respect for the users of this forum. Am asking for comments on my planned build. I will use it for gaming and some overclocking. Any and all comments will be appreciated. Chances are this might be my final build and I want it to be kinda OK. My specific questions are: should I use 4GB RAM?: should I go step farther and do SLI?; or should I wait for the Nov. NVidea cards? Here is the build: thanks for your input!!

i would go for the second option and don't buy sli its not worth it but on the other hand if you can afford it why not ,4 giga of ram is usefull if you have 64bit vista wich i recommend

I have to agree with Weasel on this one. Second option is a great rig, powerful and kinda scary . Now the SLI isn't the best Idea and with a GTX the need for it won't be too great. As for the 4gb, if you're getting Vista 64-bitand gaming, you'll want it. (I still have yet to do a test about it, but I have a hunch vista may be better at using the 4bgs than xp 64-bit).

About the new cards, well Nvidia does have some nice cards to offer, but the GTX is still supreme, but the 8800 GTS 512 is rather close to it, so just depends if you want the etra little for the extra cash.

I'm assuming with that motherboard and the cooling you'll be overclocking? If so, this will be a monster.

Happy building .
