Well it was an EVGA 8800gts 320 Mb, my only problem with it has been that I probably should have waited and gotten the 640mb version. not that I'll notice too much of a difference at 1280x1024, but you never know
 .Other then that I love it, I've never had smooth game play in all my games (all at max, well except Lost Planet... I have all at max at, but 4 AA, I never notice anything higher, and my average frames are about 45 so it's nice  )

8800gtx modded with thermal right hr03 + cooler good card think i'm gonna keep here t'ill begin next year.

ATI Radeon X1950XT 256 GDDR3 PCI-e.
In comparison with all you guys this is very moddest to say the least... X1950XT does not even show up in the first posts listing... LOL  Anyways, it performs good and according to specs alright. To Weasel: I know you play GTR2 once in a while, so is an average FPS of 50with 6xAA and 16xAF and all further eyecandy on good or bad? |

thats more then okay
.it also depends a bit if you are racing alone or with allot of cars on the track aslong if you don't get stuttering or to low fps then it runs fine

I never get below 30-ish in GTR2 (Demo, that is). 16 opponents ar emax in Demo so dont know in full GTR2, I expect it to be the same though. For your information: Go check out http://www.nogripracing.com/. Tons of stuff there for GTR2, you shall not be disappointed. Sorry, this is somewhat off topic now, forgive me folks. |
