Default Nvidia's Geforce 7900 GT beats X1800XT
Tefra's PC Specs
First lab tests show that the $300 priced 7900 GT actually can beat X1800XT. If Nvidia's card doesn’t comes faster it is very close to ATI's X1800 XT card that ATI wants to market as the competition to this card. We are talking about the default clock of 450MHz core and 1320MHz memory. Nvidia is not just faster - it has a few more key advantages up at its sleeves. Its chip is significantly smaller and cheaper to produce and it can be highly overclocked. It also runs much cooler and the fan is quiet. Even if Geforce 7900 GT loses over X1800 XT 256 MB, a lot of manufacturers will offer overclocked versions.

thats some good news tefra .i was considering to buy a 7900gt but the performance gain is not that much so maybe i'm gonna keep my trusty 7800gt.but on the otherhand the x1900xt is looking fine to
