Default Leadtek Geforce winfast A7600 GT problems!

Hello!

For a couple of days ago i went to buy a new graphic card. After some thinking i bought Geforce 7600 gt and in the beginning ( 1 hour ) it worked perfectly. But when i tried to play World Of warcraft my computer rebooted it self and then the graphic in games started to look like this :

http://www.speedyshare.com/975578495.html

Its all buggy in game etc. I have the newest drivers for it to. Does someone have a clue what the problem might be? I have 43C when i surf so i dont think it is overheated..

Help please!

ok lets frist go through a few questions so bear with me :P.

1) You bought it new off a retailer?
2) What else is in your rig?
3) What kind of power supply are you running?
4) Which drivers did you install?
5) what video card did you have previously, did you uninstall those drivers fully?
6) notice anything else act up, like sound?

We'll do out best to answer :P

ok well back to question three, I mean what is the rating of your powersupply (normally given in watts). and if you can check what company made it.

Reason I ask, is because this could be due (especially the reboots) to insuficient power getting to your video card or any other component.

yeah, often times, you buy a computer (already set-up), and nothing wrong with it, but then you install a more modern/powerful video card or some such component, and the power supply that comes with the computer just can't handle it.

I'm only saying such cause the P4's are pretty power hungry, and a new video card (up from the very modest Radeon 9250) can sometimes do that.

The other thing you should try to look at is the temperature of the card when being really used. (true normally you should be able to tell if the 'base' temp is high, but sometimes you'd be surprised how large the temperature diff can be between 'idle' usage and full usage)

Do post back, and if you need help finding how to do something just ask, I'll be glad to help.
