Default ATI R580 lacks HDMI support
Tefra's PC Specs

WE FOUND out that the top end ATI chip does not have support for HDMI. Back at CeBIT, we asked about high end HDMI cards and we learned that none of the partners will actually have any card faster than X1600 with an HDMI connector.I don't know whether ATI plans to include HDMI support in R580+ but it seems that you won't see any X1900 and X1800 cards with HDMI support. We don't know whether G71, Geforce 7900 GT and GTX cards have HDMI support.
