ATI 2600XT issue, need advice for new card.

ya 4870 is the best ATM for the price. but i heard it is extreme hot with stock cooling and according to toms hardware it had bad power management. (high power usage in idle)

edit: any one using it can give some comment about 4870?

well friend of me has one and he's very happy with it he changed something in catatlyst ccc to make his fan run faster he made a little profile for gaming and idle use so the card doesn't run that hot anymore and soon ati powerplay will be enabled in the drivers
