BF2 News: BF2 Patch 1.3 Heads Up

Browsing the various online BF2 fora, like forum.eagames.co.uk, bf2s.com and bf2.se, I found out more about the upcoming 1.3 patch:

1. Patch 1.3 will be released in May 2006, 2 months after the scheduled release date.

2. The patch will include support for Armored Fury

3. Armored Fury will be released one week after patch 1.3 is released

4. Armored Fury will include 3 new maps and two new unit types (attack jets and reconnaissance helicopters).

5. Patch 1.3 introduces a new gamemode: COOP

6. Patch 1.3 will include VOIP fixes for linux servers

7. Patch 1.3 will be the mother of all patches: this patch will fix a lot of server- and clientside bugs.

8. Improved ingame serverbrowser

9. Bugfixes in various maps so you cannot hide inside a building or wall anymore

10. Various gameplay tweaks in weaponsfire/accuracy/etc

11. Bugfix: continuous sound of weaponfire while weapon isn't fired

12. Improved server stability on large servers
