New Features
• Increased Total Graphics Memory under Windows Vista for GeForce 7 and 8 series GPUs
• Improved DirectX 10 SLI support
• Added “Resize the HDTV desktop” underscan compensation page to the NVIDIA Control Panel

Fixed Single-GPU Issues
• The ‘Hide modes that this monitor cannot display’ check box is not available, so the user cannot set up custom modes.
• Flat panel scaling function does not work properly.
• World of Warcraft has low frame rates.
• NVIDIA Control Panel: There is no option available to resize the HD resolution to fit the display.
• Battlefield –the game has flickering textures when the user attempts to switch to the desktop by pressing Alt+Tab.
• Increased performance for the DirectX version of Company of Heroes. GeForce Series GPUs
• GTX: DMark intermittently hangs part way through the full benchmark at x with xQAA enabled.
• GTX: The resolution cannot be set any higher than x on some flat panel displays.
• GTX: x resolution is not available when using the Dell WFP monitor.
• GTX: Supreme Commander–the background becomes corrupted when zoomed out with antialiasing is enabled.
• GTX: Lost Planet–the game crashes after a few minutes of play.
• GTX: Elder Scrolls: Oblivion–animation is visible through the trees when HDR and NVIDIA Control Panel antialiasing are enabled.
• GTX, GTX: Company of Heroes–there is flashing corruption during the beginning of the performance test upon initial launch or after changing the resolution.
• GTX, GTX: Quake –there are poor texture details.
• GeForce and series: Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle‐Earth –white pixels appear on the statue when antialiasing is enabled.
• GTS: Microsoft DirectX SDK Blob demo–the demo crashes when switching between multisample types while in windowed mode.
• GT: The display goes blank after changing the refresh rates.
• The system does not resume from S or S sleep states.
• The NVIDIA Control Panel settings are not reset after running the uninstaller.
• 3DMark benchmark fails to run after being looped for awhile.
• Lost Planet: Extreme Condition–the game crashes to the desktop when attempting to select a mission.
• Dual GeForce GX: The NVIDIA Control Panel crashes when attempting to launch from the Microsoft control panel.
• GX: Far Cry–textures are overly bright or missing when HDR is enabled.
• Tomb Raider Legend – screen corruption occurs when the user switches to the desktop by pressing Alt+Tab.
• GTX: Fear Extraction Point–shadow textures are stretched or render incorrectly.
• GTX: Windows Media Center stops responding after off‐screen occlusion in Dualview mode.
• GT: DVI + HDMI Clone mode sometimes results in a blank screen on the HDMI display.
• Tiger Woods –the game crashes when set to the default settings.

SLI Mode Issues
• After installing the driver over version ., the driver crashes when enabling SLI mode.
• Company of Heroes (DirectX )–there is no performance increase with NVIDIA SLI mode enabled.
• Stalker–random flickering textures appear in the game.
• [SLI bridgeless], Battlefied –stuttering occurs when playing the game.
• GTX: Prey–the game crashes when SLI mode is enabled.
• GTX: Prey–there is occasional flashing during the intro cut scene when V‐Sync is on and CSAA is enabled.
• GTX: Battlefield –game performance drops with SLI mode enabled.
• GTX: Rise of Nations: Rise of Legends–there is flickering at x with SLI mode enabled.
• GTX: Flight Simulator X– blocky multicolored textures appear and the game occasionally flickers on and off.
• GTS: NVIDIA Cascades demo–part of the rock tower is corrupted at x resolution.
• The system hangs when toggling a DirectD sample to fullscreen mode while SLI mode is enabled.
• DMark –at x resolution, xAA enabled, and x AF enabled, the benchmark crashes when feature test cases are rendering.
• [Multi GPU], GeForce GX: While installing the driver, the screen may go blank, requiring you to restart the system. This occurs occasionally, usually when the driver is first installed.
• GTX: FEAR .–with SLI mode enabled, performance under Windows Vista is slower than under Windows XP.
• GTX: Dungeon Siege –there is stuttering in the game after changing the resolution with antialiasing enabled from the NVIDIA Control Panel.
• GS: The screen goes blank when enabling SLI mode.
