well to be honest stay with xp or xp 64 if you have 64 bit cpu
i tested vista for 2 months and wasn'tt really happy older games not working good lots of crashes and copying files was horrible i heard vista sp1 solves allot of problems but still it reminds me of windows millenium but thats my opnion
